Shauna Hewitt is the founder of Roots to Thrive, a Manitoba based consulting and coaching centre. At Roots to Thrive, she guides parents, teachers and caregivers to reclaim connection and emotional wellness with the children in their care. She is committed to empowering people with tools, insights, and heart-centered strategies that foster authentic relationships and emotional growth. Together, we can break the cycle of disconnection, building a future where everyone is seen, heard, and secure. The Wholehearted series of presentations is rooted in love, resilience, and the unwavering belief that when we lead from the heart, everyone thrives.

“With over 20 years of global experience as an educator and family wellness consultant, I’ve dedicated my life to helping families and schools build deep, meaningful connections. From trailblazing compassionate, heart-centered teaching and learning in Bangkok to mentoring new teachers in the UK, and now serving families across Canada, I’ve seen the transformative power of attachment-based work firsthand. It’s not just about managing behaviors—it’s about creating secure emotional bonds that allow children to grow into resilient, confident individuals. In a world overwhelmed by technology, emotional stress, and societal pressures, fostering meaningful connections in the classroom can feel like a daunting task. But it doesn’t have to be. In this keynote address, Wholehearted Teaching: Attachment, Connection, Resilience, you’ll hear practical tools and heart-centered strategies to help you navigate the complexities of today’s challenges.”
